Description

Legislative periods are four year terms of office of a parliament. Only the National Council has a legislative period.

Attributes

• identifier uid: integer

  Unique identifier of this object.

• date_end: date

  End date of the legislative period. Should be approximately four years after the start date in cases after 1931.

• date_start: date

  Start date of the legislative period.

Constraints

• A Legislative Period must contain the attributes ‘date_start’, ‘date_end’
• All meetings must have the correct order_stamp per chamber in a Legislative Period and must be correctly connected by a NEXT relation. If the order and the time missmatch, the node must be labeled as a “Inconsistent Timestamp”.
• A Legislative Period must follow a defined structure:
  • It must be connected to exactly 4 or 5 Years with a DURING relation
