Description

Nodes with this label represent the seven federal departments, alongside other official powers like the Parliament, the Federal Supreme Court, and the federal chancellery. There are also instances of old departments That no longer exist. An example is the “Volkswirtschaftsdepartement” which is now called “Eidgenössisches Departement für Wirtschaft, Bildung und Forschung (WBF)”. In order to keep consistency, both nodes are present in the database.
